Brenda Neckvatal, an internationally recognized HR professional and best-selling author on two occasions, is a highly regarded international speaker. She is not only a business leader who helps business owners get their people right but also a specialist on crisis management and government contracting.
Brenda’s work has appeared in Forbes, Fast Company, Inc., and US News & World Reports. After a successful fourteen-year retail management career, Brenda became an HR sprout. She enjoys solving people’s problems and working in human resources allowed her to do that. She has worked for six Fortune 500 companies and used her experience to advise her audience on how to achieve small business goals by using tried-and-true best practices.
She has worked in both human resources and business for over 30 years. She has advised more than 500 small businesses, as well as C-suite executives. She has maximized employee productivity and mitigated the high costs of making hasty decisions about employment.
She has worked with employees who have been involved in workplace violence. This includes a near-stab, inciting fear among coworkers, stalking of women, violations of protocol in relation to national security, assaults, suicides, deaths, homicides, and potential active shooters.
Brenda is an active volunteer within the Navy SEAL Community, and she is always looking for new ways to support veterans of Naval Special Warfare. She spends 32 weeks of the year with The Honor Foundation, helping Special Forces personnel transition into new careers by sharing her expertise, insight and creativity.
