Starbucks’s new employee dress code is part of the brewing turnaround.

I don’t care what my Barista wears, when she gives me my drink or my breakfast.

This will make a huge difference. “A touch of professionalism can go a long way.”

Starbucks announced that its in-store employees will be required to wear updated dress codes. The new dress code will require employees to wear “any solid-black short- and long-sleeved collared or button-up shirts, and any shade or khaki, blue, or black denim bottoms.”

This new focus on consistency is just one small but important part of the larger effort under Brian Niccol, Starbucks’ new CEO.
