Pope Francis died this morning at 7:35 in Rome, marking the end a papacy which influenced more than the Catholic Church. He led in a way that is enduring for those in positions of authority. This includes business people.
Cardinal Kevin Farrell (the Vatican camerlengo, who is responsible for Vatican property and announces the death of the Pope) read out a statement which included , “He taught us how to live the values of the Gospel, with fidelity and courage, and love universal, especially towards the poorest and marginalized.”
Although I am not Catholic, his 12 years as Pope have taught me a lot about the Catholic Church. You can apply what you learn to your business and life.
