Leading law firms appoints a new HR director

Gardner Leader , a regional law firm, has appointed Sarah Hunt as its new HR Director. This is another important step towards cementing the position of the firm as a leading provider of legal services in the south of England.



The firm employs more than 200 staff members across seven offices, including those in Newbury, Thatcham and Maidenhead, in Berkshire; Swindon, in Wiltshire; Oxford, Windsor, and London. The firm’s team of highly-experienced legal professionals is divided into six teams, each of which provides specific services for businesses and individuals.



Sarah’s appointment is in line with the firm’s commitment to attract and retain the best legal talent and strengthen its reputation as a top employer. This commitment to upholding the highest levels of performance, transparency and accountability extends beyond employee benefits and best practices. spanstyle=”font size: 10.0pt, line-height 150 %;”>With more than 30 years of experience, Sarah has worked in a wide range of corporate environments, including SME’s and large corporations, across many sectors, such as utilities, financial services, and IT services, both under private and public ownership. Sarah worked at Prudential and IT provider ESP Global Services before joining Gardner Leader.



Sarah’s experience includes building HR functions from scratch and developing people-focused strategies. She has also delivered a complete suite of HR systems and policies, including employee relations, training, rewards, recruitment, performance management, line management and employment law.
