After changing industries, I’ve always felt a little imposter-syndrome. Now it’s at its highest level. I’m a “senior manager” in a small organization, but could be more of a specialist. This is not going to change no matter how many times you hear “you got it” or “you are doing great”. Finding another job is difficult because my strengths aren’t what the organization needs. Perhaps that’s not what the problem is. I don’t think it’s fair to me to determine someone’s salary, or their cost of benefits.
