Aldi has 1,000 new roles available as part of its expansion programme for store openings between now and year’s end.
It is the UK’s 4th largest supermarket and has more than 1,000 stores.
The new recruitment campaign will cover a variety of positions at the store level, including assistants in stores, cleaners, trainees, and managers.
Store assistants outside London will start at a rate of PS12.75 per hour, and increase to PS13.66 depending on the length of their service.
Starting at PS14.05 an hour in the capital, this rate rises to PS14.35. Aldi is the only supermarket that offers paid breaks to all workers. This is said to be worth over PS1,370 per year for the average store employee.
Kelly Stokes is the recruitment director for Aldi UK. She said, “As Aldi expands into new communities, it’s exciting to welcome even more people to our family.”
We’re proud of our positive work environment, as well as the opportunities to progress.
Aldi announced in February the creation of 1,600 jobs at locations such as Cambridgeshire, Greater Manchester, and Lytham.
There are hundreds of positions available in London, Caterham and Fulham Broadway for the remainder of 2025.
