Comedian Maisie Adams will host the Employee Benefits Awards 2020 on Friday, 27 June.
Adam will welcome HR professionals, reward and benefit professionals, to this year’s ceremony. It will take place at the Honourable Artillery Company in London. The HR, reward and benefit industry will have the chance to celebrate and recognise those who are driving excellence with their reward and benefit strategies.
Adam began her career in the comedy industry in 2016. She toured across the UK with her first show. The show received positive reviews at Bath Comedy Festival and Hastings Fringe Comedy Festival. It also ran at Southend Fringe, Guildford Fringe, Southend Fringe, and Southend Fringe.
She won the So You Think You’re Funny? She wrote and starred as Life Lessons for BBC3. She hosted several podcasts with comedians Tom Lucy, Suzi Ruffell and ITV’s dating show The Cabins for 2021.
Adam completed her last UK tour in March of 2023. She has appeared on shows like Mock the Week and Have I Got News for You.
Employee Benefits released the shortlist of awards for 2025 last month. This included the categories Best public-sector benefits, Best benefits supporting reproductive health, and best benefits supporting work-life balance. The shortlist for this year includes Housing 21, Lloyds Banking Group Central Co-op, and Next.
The event includes a drinks reception and a three-course meal. There will also be entertainment, as well as the opportunity to network with professionals in the industry.
